I have seen two very good (in my opinion) hand surgeons previously for a severely arthritic right thumb. Dr. D?Addesi took the time to explain my options and actually recommended no surgery at this point while waiting to see if other treatment might relieve the pain. In addition he maintains an awesome doctor/patient relationship. If you have any hand problems at all I can recommend Dr. D?Addesi without reservation.

I am sure many of you can relate, needing an appt. with an orthopedic doctor, the wait can take weeks to months. Imagine my surprise when I was able to snag a new patient appt. within 2 days. I was impressed with that right there.
I was to see Dr. Leonard D'Addesi, the upper extremities specialist. Outside the frustration of new patient paperwork, it took only a few minutes to head back. From triage to x-ray, to seeing Dr. D'Addesi- maybe 15 min.
Dr. D'Addesi and I talked & after his assessment, suggested a treatment plan based on my needs. He was clear in speaking with me, friendly, and respectful. That was it! No long drawn out wait, no going back & forth explaining it in multiple ways like some doctors. No need to cut!
It only took a moment for him to come back for the treatment. He talked with me during, which had me calm and feeling like I actually mattered. Once done, he told me to come back whenever I felt the need. The staff in the back were just as friendly as could be.
