About Dr. Levi Young
Dr. Levi J Young is an accomplished plastic surgeon in Leawood who is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is an artist in and out of the operating room, and his drawings and paintings can be found on the walls of his practice, Advanced Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Young’s creative eye has helped many of our Kansas City-area patients reach their cosmetic goals through facial plastic surgery, breast surgery, and body contouring.
Advanced Cosmetic Surgery serves patients in Leawood and the surrounding areas of Kansas City, Kansas, and Missouri.
In his spare time, Dr. Young enjoys playing soccer, drawing, painting, camping, skiing, and playing the piano.
Dr. Young earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry with a pre-med emphasis at Park University in Parkville, Missouri, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. While there, he was a proud member of the soccer team where he was an NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete and served as Captain of the team. After receiving his B.A. in 2001, he went on to study medicine at the University of Kansas.
In 2006, Dr. Young was awarded his Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class. He was named Best Student in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clerkship and was Chairman of the K.U. Chapter of AMA-MSS.
Levi J. Young, M.D. did his residency and worked as a member of the Clinical Faculty in the Surgery Department of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He was also Assistant Clinical of Surgery at SABA University School of Medicine. Dr. Young is licensed to practice in both Kansas and Missouri.Dr. Levi J. One word, PERFECTION. Dr. Young was completely spot on for my desired outcome. I had a hard time explaining and visualize what I was exactly what I wanted. He made it easy for me and knew exactly what I wanted for my desired outcome, He took in consideration my height and what would look best on my body frame. I was nervous about the scares and nipple relocation of a lift and augmentation. Everything turned out perfectly symmetrical and my incisions are healing beautifully. I couldn't be happier and never imagined them to look as good as they do. Also, he's has great bedside manner, making you feel comfortable and ease.

Dr. Young and his nurse Kim were both really great! I got a free consultation back in June and he recommended an appropriate sized implant and lipo in some of the areas I've always been self conscious about. They were really flexible with rearranging my surgery date when I needed to make schedule changes due to work or finances. Both Dr. Young and Kim were great about answering questions and making me feel at ease. I would recommend him to anyone.

Five star visit. Dr. Young’s team is so nice, experienced and comforting.
