There’s a lot of joy in working with children, so pediatrics was an easy choice for me. It is very rewarding to not only help a child feel better, but also help them establish attitudes and habits for a lifetime of health. I work hard to develop a relationship with the 16-and-under crowd, as well as with parents who tell me they appreciate my compassion and thoroughness. Taking the time to listen to parents’ concerns and answer all of their questions is an important part of my practice. As the mother of three young children, I can really relate to both kids and their parents. There is nothing more important to me than the health and safety of your children. As a strong advocate of vaccinations, I believe that ensuring the children who visit our office are fully vaccinated is the single most important thing I can do to keep your children and your community safe. If you choose not to fully vaccinate your child, another physician may be a better fit for your family
