In my recent years of practice, I’ve witnessed the delivery of healthcare by large corporations shift from being patient centered to being driven to enhance the "bottom line". This is done by encouraging patients to come in for unnecessary visits and by coding for the diagnoses with the highest reimbursement rate. Frustrated with the change in focus from patient care to financial gain and given the growing acceptance of Telehealth, I realized I could provide, affordable care for many health concerns with warmth and efficiency by telemedicine alone. My passion is to provide care that is truly about what the patient needs to achieve their optimum health.
