Dr Prentice delivered my son over 17 years ago and at the time, she wasnt my original obgyn. She moved her practice from Arlington and I followed. Dr Prentice treats my mom, daughter, and aunt (and myself of course). I dont trust anyone else to be as thorough and respectful to the women I love most. She is highly recommended.

With degrees in Psychology & Education and after 8 years of teaching, Dr. Prentice and her family moved to Shreveport, Louisiana where she went to medical school at LSU. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. She joined The Woman’s Group in August 2001 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Prentice considers her greatest accomplishments to be her two daughters, Ashley and Kristy. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as water skiing, reading and playing guitar.

Dr. Prentice is wonderful. Took her time, got to know me and is helping me get through this changing time in my life. She seemed very sympathetic to my needs and my ever changing body and emotions. After my appointment, I feel I can take on menopause with a new outlook and hope!
