About Lisa Altman
Lisa Altman is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her National Board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Lisa graduated from Florida Atlantic University, with Summa Cum Laude honors, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in the Science of Nursing. She was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau and Golden Key National Honor Societies for excelling academically. She earned her Master's Degree in the Science of Nursing from Rivier University, with Summa Cum Laude honors as well. Lisa is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Advanced Practice Nurses of NJ. She is a native of Ocean County with 25 years of nursing experience. Lisa began her career in Oncology at Jersey Shore Medical Center. She then worked as a Float Pool RN at Community Medical Center, which allowed her to gain experience in other specialties including cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, oncology, and women's health. She became the Assistant Director of the Women's Health Unit and obtained her school nurse certification. She then worked as a school nurse in Ocean County for 10 years. Lisa strongly believes in patient-centered care where patients are partners in health care decisions. She believes that understanding individual needs and desired health outcomes are the driving force behind all care decisions. She is passionate about health promotion and skin cancer prevention/early detection, anti-aging skin care, as well as managing acute and chronic skin conditions. She enjoys traveling, skiing, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.

My screening was conducted by Lisa Altman, RN. Lisa and her assistant Abbey were very Professional and extremely courteous. Lisa was focused and attended to ALL of my concerns. She was attentive and responded with clear and knowledgeable explanations for her findings. She offered valued information for preventative behavior. Went for a skin screening and Lisa Altman and staff were so wonderful to deal with bedside manner a plus. They took their time checking my body and removed a skin tag at the same appointment. Also took a specimen of an area to send to lab.. Important to check every year.

I don't know if it is Zocdoc or the doctors office I went to, but their is way to many texts and emails and then finally a call from the office, to confirm that I was coming. This started 5 days prior. This is overkill.
