About Dr. Lisa Forgione

Lisa Forgione, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician with 25 years of experience. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University and completed a fellowship at Schneider Children's Hospital. Dr. Forgione began practicing general pediatrics in Rockville Centre at a practice that met her expectations for a fulfilling career. Her focus is on providing quality medical care from birth through young adulthood. She enjoys working with the whole family to determine the best course of treatment for each individual patient. Her favorite aspect of pediatric medicine is watching children grow up before her eyes and then return with their own children. She truly values the trust parents place in her to care for their families. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Forgione has taken on leadership roles, currently serving as associate chair of the Department of Pediatrics, where she strives to make each practice a center for excellent pediatric medicine.
