About Lisa Morales

I am originally from Southern California and was raised in Pomona. I went to college at UC Irvine, and then I moved to New York City, where I attended Mount Sinai Medical School. Since the second grade, I knew I wanted to be a physician, and it has been the best decision of my life. I enjoy spending quality time with members. My view of medicine is based on prevention of disease. I enjoy discussing important lifestyle changes with members to help prevent disease, and I believe in healthy eating and exercise. I value my diverse member population and include LGBTQ care. I enjoy running, cycling, and circuit training. I also have a daily yoga and meditation practice, which helps reduce stress in my life. I enjoy reading about nutrition and fitness, and I share this information with members. Every spring, I have a thriving garden at my home. My rescue dog, Abby, has an important role in my life. My favorite hobby is traveling. I have been fortunate to travel to many locations in the world, including a memorable RV trip throughout New Zealand, trekking to Machu Picchu in Peru, and extensively traveling throughout Southeast Asia. I love adventurous activities, including skydiving, ice climbing, and caving. I’ve even trekked a glacier in Patagonia in South America. My travels have helped shape who I am and how I view the world.
