Dr.Roth was a breath of fresh air. She was polite, friendly and informative. She made me feel very comfortable while taking her time to explain everything to me. I genuinely enjoyed my visit with her. I wish she was a primary care doctor. I left my visit feeling educated and assured i had the knowledge necessary to battle with my allergies. Front desk staff was also very friendly and welcoming. All in all 5 stars!!!

No complaints. I did the allergy test as well as seeing her about my seasonal allergies because the prescriptions that I was using from other urgent cares was ineffective. Roth gave me some samples of allergy medication to see if it do a better job than my old medication, and it is better. I can finally go back to work with my allergies controlled

Lisa Roth, MD completed her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the R.A. Cooke Institute at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. She received her bachelor's degree from George Washington University and her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. Dr. Roth completed her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke's- Roosevelt Hospital. She also completed a post-doctorate residency fellowship and clinical fellowship at Columbia University.
Dr. Roth is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Medicine at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine. Formerly, Dr. Roth was the Clinical Advisor and Assistant Professor in the Science Education Department at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine responsible for the development of a new basic science course, "Interacting with the Environment" for the second year medical students. This course integrated disciplines of immunology, microbiology, allergy, infectious disease, rheumatology and dermatology.
She is a fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Roth is a member of the American College of Physicians; Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and Long Island Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society.
Dr. Roth is married and has two children. She enjoys creative writing and wrote two children's books, The Magical Journey and Stand Up! She frequently visits schools discussing her books with elementary school students. Her recent book, Stand Up! received the National Children's Book of the Year Finalist by the National Association of Elementary School Principals highlighting specific strategies for bullying prevention.

I looked up my symptoms prior to my visit and had a list of questions to present to Dr. Roth. She answered all of my questions prior to my getting a chance to ask. And also presented new information that I found valuable. I am a nurse. I work with emergency room doctors. And unfortunately I spent a lot of time with doctors because I had a loved one who was very ill. With that experience with physicians, I feel that Dr. Roth is a great doctor who educates her patients. When I returned to work and one of my friends/colleagues mentioned that I looked better and we spoke about my experience. Being that I saw two doctors prior to Dr. Roth. She said I am glad you obviously found a good doctor.
