5/5 STAR Doctor. Authentic review not get paid to write this. I was having ear infection and went to 1-2 other physicians before going to her. She listens all your concerns. Plus she also calls me back after My first visit meanwhile I am on vacation to check up on me if my ear is okay or I am doing okay. I don’t think any doctor take out that time to go this extra step to check up on their patients. She is very well experienced. Definitely feels like I am talking to my own mother rather then a doctor whenever I visits her. Did not rush you or anything. Discuss each and every minor details with you. Super friendly, nice and caring. THE BEST and I would definitely recommends her to my family or friends. ????????

Dr Szubin diagnosed an issue I had been previously misdiagnosed for. I now have a game plan and am very thankful I got to see her when I did. She is no nonsense and to the point which is nice when you're in a lot of pain and need a clear solution.

Lisa Szubin is an energetic, compassionate ear, nose, and throat doctor, who specializes in head and neck surgery in New York City. Originally from New York, Dr. Szubin graduated Harvard College with a degree in biochemistry. She has owned her solo practice for 15 years on the Upper East Side.
Dr. Szubin’s practice consists of office visits as well as surgery. Most of her surgeries are nasal and sinus procedures and she currently uses balloon sinusplasties to augment standard sinus procedures. Dr. Szubin is also using new drug-eluting stents during sinus surgery, which is beneficial and cutting-edge. She aims to make her patients feel comfortable and well taken care of. She sees all of her patients herself and employs a hands-on approach. She explains diagnoses and treatment plans carefully, so that patients can be part of their healing process.
Dr. Szubin lives in New York with her husband and three children. She leads an active lifestyle and she enjoys Pilates, running, traveling, and takes an adventurous approach to her life and vacations.

Dr. Szubin was great and the staff was very friendly. I had to refill all my information even though I had already done it through Zocdoc (I got a text from Zocdoc literally as I was walking in saying that "the office has all your information", but they didn't). Luckily I arrived ~20 min early so I completed all that. I also had to wait almost 30 minutes from from appointment time until I was seen. But the doctor did apologize for the wait. She listened to everything I said and provided a plan. Would definitely recommend.

The perfect combination of professionalism and personable, warm demeanor. Dr. Subrin obviously has complete command of her knowledge base--and yet she's compassionate and a good communicator. Prompt and accurate diagnosis, with a recommended follow up, which I also appreciate. Five stars. Staff was helpful and efficient, got us in earlier even than our scheduled appointment for a semi-crisis.

A little disappointing. For as long as I can remember, I have always struggled breathing from my nostrils and I was hoping Dr. Szubin would help find a long term solution for it. Instead, she prescribed steroids which I later found out are a generic short-term solution.
