About Dr. Luis Cenedese
Luis Cenedese is an empathetic and renowned plastic surgeon working in Brooklyn and New York, NY. He graduated from Columbia University and completed his residency in surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center. Mount Sinai Hospital accepted the doctor for a residency in plastic surgery. Upon completing this he was chosen as chief resident in plastic surgery. An additional fellowship in orthopedic hand and reconstruction surgery at Thomas Jefferson University was completed. He is board-certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as a member of the Faculty of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Cenedese performs both reconstructive and cosmetic plastic and hand surgery. He has extensive experience with burn victims, congenital defects, and trauma victims as well as with patients wanting to make simple alterations. He performs breast and buttock augmentation, chemical peels, facelifts, anti-aging treatments, eyelid and nasal cosmetic surgery, burn correction, tummy tucks, implants and skin grafts to name just a few procedures.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Cenedese has been a clinical instructor of surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Downstate School of Medicine.
He does charitable work for Native Americans through the Department of Indian Affairs.

Dr. Cenedese was very professional, pleasant and welcoming. He is also very knowledgeable and realistically open about the procedures, risk and possible outcome.
Dr C, is also very hands on in introducing his staff. I met with his esthetician who was also very knowledgeable in terms of procedures for facial rejuvenation and possible procedures to revitalize facial beautification. This office offers far and beyond my expectations! This will definitely be my go to place to get some all my procedures done.
It was just a wonderful visit.

After breaking my finger and having surgery I made the mistake of coming to see Dr. Cenedese for a post operation follow-up. This guy provided zero value in my visit. He removed the original bandaging from my operation looked at the pins in my hand, and literally put the exact same old bandaging back onto my hand. I was dumbfounded. Then his front desk overbilled me from my co-pay. I called and asked why, and the lady told me to just mail a check for what my copay should be and she would call it even, like she was doing me a favor. And then hung up on me. Would not recommend.

Dr. Cenedese saw me right away about my torn earlobe, calmed me down about it (it's not a pleasant thing to have happen), explained the procedure, gave me helpful insight, and scheduled me in right away for his next appointment (he couldn't do it today because his nurse wasn't there, or else he would have seen to it). Dr. Cenedese accomodated me on last minute appointment request same day, waited for me at the end of his work day while I was stuck in traffic. He spent a good hour with me discussing everything imaginable related to my FREE consultation and made valuable suggestions. He urged that I think carefully about the risks before deciding on a rather safe operation. Took photos. Photo edited to show probable outcomes. And best of all the rates he quoted are very very reasonable given his experience, caliber of practice, and prime time location. Very highly recommended. Can not wait for my procedure.
