Getting to know Dr. Lynn Nguyen
**Please note: This practice does not participate in any insurance plans. I am considered an out-of-network provider. Due to limited capacity, I am currently only accepting a few new patients for psychotherapy clients at this time. Fees may vary and can be discussed.
I am a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of depression and anxiety. I received my Doctor of Medicine degree and completed my psychiatry training at The University of Texas. Additionally, I completed fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Previously, I served as an Attending Psychiatrist at the Veterans Affairs Hospital as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University School of Medicine. I have also worked in the medical unit of ABC News, writing stories to improve mental health literacy and spread public health messages.

Initial session: $650 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $325 for 20 minutes

Payment can be made by HSA/FSA or credit card and is collected on the day of your visit. If you have out-of-network insurance coverage, I can provide a detailed invoice for you to submit to your health insurance company.

Dr. Nguyen was very professional and caring. She is a good listener and very knowledgeable about all the medications we discussed. She listens and asks detailed questions to fully understand your individual situation. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a psychiatrist.

Since moving to New York, I’ve tried a lot of therapists to find the best fit. During our first session, I knew I’d found it. Dr. Nguyen is one of the most compassionate and caring doctors I’ve worked with.
She can prescribe but is more than happy to works with my long standing psychiatrist.
With her quality of care, she understandably doesn’t take insurance. I can’t recommend her enough.

Dr. Nguyen has been working with our teen daughter for the past year. It has been a great experience for our family. My daughter likes seeing her and has made excellent progress with her. She is caring and considerate and clearly cares a lot about her patients. She checks in with my daughter and is always available if needed. I have seen other psychiatrists in New York and never have had one as caring and knowledgeable as Dr. Nguyen. I highly recommend her.

I've seen a lot of psychiatrist, and Dr. Nguyen has been the best so far. She took the time to understand everything I was dealing with and explained things clearly. I recommend her wholeheartedly.
