Dr. Keshet graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha Society). She completed an ophthalmology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center and then sub-specialized in Cornea, Refractive Surgery, and External Diseases at the Tufts Medical Center, Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Over the years, Dr. Keshet participated as an investigator in numerous research studies and clinical trials and has often presented lectures at national conferences. She is Director of Cornea at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Medical Center and is on the medical advisory board of the New York Eye Bank for Sight Restoration. She was awarded the annual "Outstanding teacher" award by her residents in 2013. She is an active speaker in the optometric COPE talks and is always available for consultation by phone or in writing.

Dr. Keshet was professional and thorough in her exam. She suggested an easy laser fix for the thickening of the inner layer of my cornea which seems quite simple and I am feeling comfortable with her diagnosis. Her staff was professional and very helpful as well.

I made an appointment with Dr. Maayan Keshet. After waiting for over an hour a woman called my name and told me she wanted to do a test. She did not introduce herself or tell me what the test was. I advised her that I had scheduled an appt to see Dr. Keshet and she told me that would "prepare" me for the doctor. After being prepared by this woman who never provided her name, I then waited another 30 minutes to see Dr. Keshet. She was in the examining room with me for all of 7 minutes. She did not explain things clearly and inserted punctal plugs. I did not learn until after leaving the office that the insertion of these plugs were a surgical procedure that required a signed informed consent. I never signed an informed consent and Dr. Keshet certainly did not educate me on all of the risks and complications that may occur. I will not be returning to this physician and do not recommend her to anyone else.

The doctor was great and very thorough in the examination. She asked lots of questions and was able to figure out the problem. I did not care for the office's policy on full payment prior to the visit. They agreed to push the costs through the insurance but only after I argued that's how it should be. They wanted what would potentially be the maximum visit coinsurance, in addition to the copayment.

Dr. Maayan Keshet was patient and had very good bedside manners however my experience with contact lenses was pretty bad could not get a correct fit after 5 attempts at it. I gave up at the final attempt but they were very professional and worked with me on trying to get the perfect fit but in the end could not get a good fit with me.

Probably the best medical office experience I've ever had - everyone there was friendly, super helpful, and on top of everything. Went for a lunch hour appointment (typically very busy time) and was brought in as soon as I finished my new patient paperwork. Dr. Keshet was patient, explained everything she was doing, why, and the results clearly, and was very friendly and extremely nice.

Great doctor. Very kind and easy to talk to. Answers all your questions and explains all your options. If do not what to go through the hassel of dealing with hospitals or doctors who are not as experienced, stick with Dr.Keshet because she cares about solving your problems and seeing positive results!
