Dr. Konrad is an oculoplastic surgeon and addresses functional problems of the eyelids, the orbits, the tear ducts, as well as cosmetic issues, such as blepharoplasties, Botox, fillers, and resurfacing. Often, insurance can be used to help cover the cost of eyelid surgery. If you have a stye/chalazion or a lesion on your eyelid, that can be taken care of with medication, a steroid injection or surgery in-office depending on what you need.
Dr. Hindola Konrad is a Board-Certified Ophthalmic surgeon and a Fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She received her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed Residency in Ophthalmology at Harkness Eye Institute, Columbia University, and pursued a Fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, United Kingdom.
Dr. Konrad is a Clinical Instructor in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery at Columbia University and an Attending Physician at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She has a private practice in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery in New York and Connecticut.
