My passion began with my first step into a psychiatric unit in South Florida as a student nurse. I realized how I shared similar experiences with many of my patients, which kindled my passion for understanding human beings and making sense of the world through my close work with them.
Furthermore, being raised in a large family prone to mental health disorders made me decide to do some volunteer work and delve deeper into other types of chronic mental illnesses. This decision was the start of my healing process and eventually led to my passion for healing others in ways I did not even knew existed.
