About Dr. Mahdi Awwad

After completing a successful Family Medicine Residency in Cleveland, Maternal Child Health Fellowship in West Virginia & Faculty position as Maternal Health Director at UT Southwestern Family Medicine Residency for the last 6 years, Dr. Awwad made the difficult decision of leaving academic medicine in order to focus more of time on taking care of his patients. In particular, he wants to focus his time more on providing a full spectrum approach of care dedicated solely to women. In this new venture, Bella Medical was born and we hope to provide a wide-range of care and services for our patients.
