Dr. Mahira Tanovic, M.D., FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, with extensive experience in the field. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Sarajevo Medical School, Sarajevo School of Science and Technology. Dr. Tanovic completed her general surgery residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY, followed by her plastic surgery residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY.

Dr. Tanovic and her entire team are a pleasure. While professional, it is a very comfortable atmosphere and everyone is very kind and knowledgeable. I am very happy with my breast and eye lift results. All my questions and concerns were always always taken seriously and addressed and answered with care and I was made to feel at ease.

I went to Dr. Tanovic for a breast reduction. She and her team are understanding and friendly, and Dr. Tanovic is a very skilled surgeon. She explained everything and answered all my questions without rushing. Surgery went very well. Recovery was easy for me, just had to take it easy for a few weeks (no heavy lifting, no exercise, etc.) My breasts now look amazing and in proportion to the rest of my body. I couldn’t be happier!

I came in to have a something removed from my head, and I also come here all the time for my Bot ox and fillers. I love this entire office. It's truly rare to find a doctor's office that not only the Dr is good, but their staff is super nice. Absolutely an amazing experience overall!!

Dr. Tanovic & her team are truly incredible. They are warm, compassionate, kind, and caring. Dr. Tanovic always makes me feel comfortable, listens to me, and is so thorough in every single visit, spending so much of her valuable time making sure I am comfortable and understanding. I began as a medical patient and now find myself going back for all the cosmetic goodness they offer!

I have been going to Dr. Tanovic's office for 15+ years. I have had liposuction, fat transfer to the face, Botox, Fillers, Chemical Peels, Lasers, Microneedling, UlTherapy, Coolsculpting, and so much more. Dr. T is the most intelligent doctor, surgeon, and woman that I have ever come across. She has an immense amount of experience which translates into her incredible work that she performs. Her staff is so sweet and compassionate as well- the entire office is a reflection of the incredible person and surgeon that she is!
