“Dr. Wong is the pediatrician for my three children (ages 17, 13, and 3) and has been for approximately the past 10 years. She was referred to me as “the best” by an extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable source-and she truly is the best. About Dr. Maicie Wong
I specialize in delivering medical care with compassion in a personalized 1:1 setting. The office sees expectant parents, newborns, toddlers, children, adolescents, and young adults up to age 26. Well and sick visits, as well as travel vaccines and behavioral consultations, are all available. Long-term continuity of care is essential to help patients thrive, not just stay healthy.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from New York University, completed my Doctor of Medicine at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, and completed Pediatrics residency at North Shore University Hospital. The practice is currently affiliated with New York Presbyterian Columbia /Weil Cornell as well as Lenox Hill Northwell.

Dr. Wong is very warm and friendly to my children. She makes them feel at ease even when they are anxious about a shot or a swab. She asks detailed questions to make sure she understands the full extent of their ailments and does a thorough examination.

I have four children. Dr. Wong has been our pediatrician for many years. She is an excellent clinician who has the unique ability to connect with children in all stages of life. She has always been available to answer all of my questions over the years and routinely answers questions from my now adolescent and college age children whenever they need her. She has deep connections with well regarded specialists when needed. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wong’s for years. She’s great! She’s always thorough during her exams and explains her findings/thoughts in a clear and understandable way. She will do everything she can before sending you off to a another doctor. Whenever I’ve called and left a voicemail, she always responds promptly and I never wait longer than 15 minutes to be seen for an appointment. She’s friendly and easy to talk to about any issues/concerns you may have.

Both of my children are patients of Dr. Wong since birth. She is great with kids, my daughter actually gets excited to go to the Dr.! Dr. Wong is very responsive to messages about emergencies. She generally gets back to me within minutes. We are happy to have gotten recommended Dr. Wong from my husbands childhood Pediatrician.

Dr. Wong has been my 177 year old son's pediatrician for 12 years now. She is an amazingly caring and thorough doctor. My son loves her and I trust her care, and expertise 100%. Her care is comprehensive and she thinks about the well-being of the whole child. She is intentional about building relationships with her patients and their caregivers. Dr. Wong is often recommended by families whose children have been her patient for many years. A rare gem to find among pediatrician.

My daughter has been with Dr. Wong for almost 10 years. She has been an awesome doctor. She has always returned my phone calls for questions or concerns and made availability easy when my daughter became sick. Dr. Wong has always made me feel at ease with any questions or concerns I had and gave me additional supports whenever needed. Any paperwork, referrals, bloodwork required was always handled in a timely manner. We are very grateful to have Dr. Wong as our pediatrician.
