Dr. Mamatha Racheruvu, MD

Nephrologist
4708 Dexter Dr, Ste 400, Plano, TX
During high school, my grandmother was seriously ill, and for one year I observed her unsuccessful battle against stroke with paralysis. I learned that providing preventive care could have prolonged her life. I decided to join this profession to help people access the education and resources needed to live a healthy life. I earned my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Osmania Medical College, completed my Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama, Montgomery, and pursued a Fellowship in Nephrology at Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University. As a nephrologist, I have the privilege of maintaining long-term relationships with my patients. It is a great pleasure to help people take care of their kidneys and prevent dialysis. Managing patients on dialysis involves addressing both physical and emotional wellbeing, and I become part of their family, supporting them through their journey. My philosophy of care is to provide knowledge to prevent the advancement of kidney disease and prolong life.
