The office staff who greet you when you come in sit behind a desk counter and it is high and they keep their seats very low so you can’t see them and they don’t even know you’re waiting. I’ve seen several people irritated by this and waiting a long time. I’ve seen three people sitting there, not waiting on anybody and I tell them I’m here for Dr. Palmari and I cannot stand so I’m going to sit in the chair and then they decide to check me in at that point. I have a picture of the staff sitting behind their desks where you can’t see them and they can’t see you. It’s ridiculous. The rest of the staff is wonderful and Dr. Palmari is wonderful. ?

I arrived on time and was told there was a shortage of rooms available and that it would be a 15-20 minute wait. After 5 -10- minutes I went to use the ladies room. When I came out I waited another 30 minutes and then approached the desk to ask what was the wait time. She said they called my name when I was in the bathroom and took the next person. In my professional opinion, they knew I was there, knew I was in the bathroom, they should have waited a few minutes to call me again. Their decision to take someone else caused me to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes. I waited another 20 minutes sitting in a room waiting for the Dr to come. In total i spent 2 hours at the office for a short visit.
I’ve been trying to get a refill and a sooner appointment due to back pain. It’s not the doctors fault but you leave messages for the receptionist for several days and nobody calls you back you leave voicemail for prescription refill and nobody calls you back. My only complaint is with reception crew the doctors wonderful ?

Great doctor.
Verified patient
Dr Palmieri and his PAs listen to you. They provide detailed information about your problem and also look at the common sense issues overall of dealing with pain. He is open to developing and trying options, recommending ancillary modalities and the opinions of other medical personnel in the Orlin practice. He is personable and emphatic as well as highly professional.
Verified patient
Dr. Palmeri was very professional. He listened to my issues, checked out my injury and explained how and why I was a candidate for treatment. He explained the procedure clearly and did not push the issue. I felt that he was truly concerned with my benefit. I would recommend him to someone who is dealing with nerve pain.
Verified patient

Dr P was amazing! These days, is it hard to find a doctor that actually listens to you? But he listens with an empathetic ear, and explains things very well!!
Verified patient
He’s wonderful at what he does, the off ice front was unfriendly, and wasn’t interested in what I said. I was told I wasn’t a patient, I’ve been with Orlin and cohen since 2015, I need to fill out all this unnecessary paperwork, and start over. Wasn’t feeling confident that I would be heard, let alone treated correctly, after meeting his PA I was more relaxed, and his scheduling office was wonderful and helpful. I won’t go back to the Bohemia office.

I love Dr. Palmieri. He is great at what he does. However, his appointments are overbooked and the wait time is over an hour. Also, on this visit his PA came in to give my my treatment. I did not wait so long to see a PA. I insisted that I be seen by Dr. Palmieri.
Dr. Marco Palmieri was wonderful. He explained exactly my back issues . His nurse Douglas was thorough and took his time. Since it was my first visit with Dr. Palmieri, he made sure he noted all my concerns. We did go with a MRI disc which was helpful. His front desk staff (Jessica) was very helpful and pleasant. The check in staff was great. The waiting room was clean. I Would certainly recommend Dr. Palmieri. He was great

Very professional , Dr. Palmieri is very patient and kind. We decided on an injection of cortisone for the pain I was experiencing, resulting in considerable relief.
