About Dr. Marek Gawrysz

Compassion, open communication, respect, and quality medical care are the core values I strive to bring to my patients. I firmly believe that patients have several rights regarding their medical care, with the most important being the right to complete and transparent medical information. I ensure my patients understand why a procedure is performed, why certain tests or treatments are necessary, and what the results indicate. I earned my medical degree from Jagiellonian University Medical College and completed my residency in General Surgery at Columbus Hospital. I have been a member of The American Academy of Family Physicians since 1986 and a fellow since 1997. From 1993 to 2001, I served as president and vice-president of The Polish-American Medical Society. Additionally, I am a member of the American Academy of Physicians' Specialists and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. I am also board certified in family practice.
