Welcome! I'm Maggie Smith. I am a Dual Certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health & Family Medicine. I am excited to help you with any steps and goals you have for your mental health. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore problems and concerns related to anxiety, depression, and trauma PTSD, various other Mental Health issues including bipolar disorders, & coping. I focus on helping clients help improve their quality of life through medication management and therapeutic modalities. I am strong believer in Humanism as an approach to Mental Health. This allows us to build relationships with patients and make goals together. First of course we will introduce ourselves! Then I will get to know you better with some psychosocial and medical questions. I will also ask you questions about why you are seeking Psychiatric and Mental Health Treatment. Then together we will discuss your goals and make a plan together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am strong believer in Humanism as an approach to Mental Health. This allows us to build relationships with patients and make goals together. I cannot at this time accept Medicaid insurance but hopefully will be able in the future.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

First of course we will introduce ourselves! Then I will get to know you better with some psychosocial and medical questions. I will also ask you questions about why you are seeking Psychiatric and Mental Health Treatment. Then together we will discuss your goals and make a plan together.
