About Dr. Maria Batlle Quidgley
Downtown Medical Group requires all patients to upload their insurance information within 24 hours of booking. We need to verify patients’ insurance prior to their appointment. Downtown Medical Group may reach out to patients for a credit card to be placed on file, as we charge $75.00 for any appointments cancelled or marked as no-shows within 24 hours of the appointment time.
Booking with an in-network plan does not guarantee that your insurance will cover 100% of your visit. Please check with our office for details.
Other concerns or conditions (acute or chronic) cannot be treated during annual physicals.
Our office does not accept any student health plans. We strongly encourage you to contact our office to verify your coverage before booking an appointment.
We are able to schedule audio-video telemedicine visits for some new and established patients depending on their conditions and needs. Thank you for your understanding during these challenging times.
Dr. Maria Batlle, MD, completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez. She then pursued medical training at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine degree and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Batlle has since accrued over 20 years of experience practicing in various healthcare settings. She believes communication and patient empowerment are crucial in fostering healthy communities.
After a decade of living in New York, she now enjoys spending time with her family in the Bay Area and loves visiting friends. She also enjoys arts and crafts, reading, the outdoors, and riding her motorcycle.
