About Dr. Maria Joyce Bernabe
Dr. Maria Joyce Rowena Bernabe graduated from Ateneo University, Davao Medical School Foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctor Of Medicine. She trained and practiced medicine in the Philippines before moving to the United States. She graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School - Ghent Family Medicine Program - in Norfolk, VA where she did all her electives in Dermatology.
Dr. Bernabe is board certified in Family Practice. She holds certification in radiation therapy of Basal and Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the skin. Dr. Bernabe is certified in cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Bernabe loves to spend time with her family & friends. She also likes to read and listens to classical, jazz and Filipino music. She spends her free time photographing/arranging flowers and growing orchids. She is a fan of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts and baseball’s New York Yankees.

i spent more time filling out forms than with the doctor. She was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Hopefully her diagonious is correct anjd her meds will do the trick. She asked to see me in 2 weeks, there was a little confusion at the desk, when i got home and looked at appt card it read appt scheduled for 3/23/2020.???

The billing staff and the nurse in the office were great. Billing helped me to satisfactorily solve a major insurance issue and the nurse was friendly and made the situation more comfortable. Dr was professional and explained everything. She did a biopsy and removed the questionable area without any pain.
