About Dr. Mariah Pate
Dr. Mariah Pate is a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist providing comprehensive, patient-centered ENT care. Practicing since 2017, she is passionate about helping patients breathe easier, feel better, and improve their overall quality of life through compassionate, individualized care.
Dr. Pate leads a collaborative care team that includes three dedicated Physician Assistants (PAs). Together, they work closely to provide seamless, high-quality care with a shared commitment to patient well-being. This team-based approach allows for thorough evaluations, timely communication, and a focus on long-term results that enhance patients’ daily lives.
With a true passion for Otolaryngology, Dr. Pate and her team find great joy in helping people overcome sinus, allergy, and breathing challenges so they can live more comfortably. Dr. Pate believes that every patient has a story to tell — and that story deserves to be heard. For many, visiting a doctor can feel intimidating, which is why Dr. Pate and her team takes the time to listen, connect, and communicate clearly. Her goal is always to earn each patient’s trust through respect, compassion, and transparency.
Academically, Dr. Pate earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from East Tennessee State University’s James H. Quillen College of Medicine (2008–2012), where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her five-year Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery Residency at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University (2012–2017).
A native Floridian, Dr. Pate is honored to practice in her home state and serve the residents of the Greater Tampa Bay area. She remains deeply committed to advancing ENT care through compassion, precision, and teamwork — helping every patient breathe and live better.

I drove 45 minutes to see this doctor. My confirmation said Dr Pate. I never saw the doctor- only her PA. I could tell they were going to push for a sinus procedure before I even got to the exam room and they did. Everybody was nice I strongly felt like this was a procedure generating center rather than a patient focused center. Do not recommend.

Unfortunately I did not see the doctor, only what I would assume was the PA, who was very nice. I specifically chose this doctor because in the Zocdoc drop down list of specialties it specifically listed the problem I had, which was BPPV, a vertigo condition. So I assumed they were prepared to treat that problem, if it was confirmed that was the issue.
After testing it was confirmed that was highly likely my problem, so I was expecting it was going to be treated. But the person said they were not equipped to treat BPPV. Very disappointing.
They were very kind in setting me up to go to another facility, which I did. But my confusion about not being able to treat BPPV because of lack of equipment only got more confusing when the other facility simply used a flat table that I laid on. No other equipment necessary.
Recommendation I made to them was if you are going to list something as a specialty, you should be prepared to treat it or change the wording to "diagnosis" of .........
