Marie Lennox is the CEO of MindSpa Psychiatry, an outpatient mental health practice serving all of Florida through telemedicine. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, insomnia, PTSD, and OCD using medication and/or alternative treatment options. Marie earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Maryville University and holds a Bachelor's degree from New Jersey City University. The most important thing to know about mental health is that you are not alone. Many people struggle with depression and anxiety, but there are options.
What should a new client know about working with you?
In terms of her therapeutic approach, Marie finds that thoroughly educating patients on disorders and treatment modalities using supportive psychotherapy and psychoeducation is the best way to aid in recovery and promote wellness. In addition, it is essential to have mutual, obtainable plans and take them one session at a time. The goal is to manage and stabilize the patient's symptoms to live their lives to their fullest potential.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Currently, Marie is pursuing outpatient telemedicine services only, with a plan to offer other in-person services soon. The first step is to ensure telemedicine is right for you. Marie can guide you in any way necessary to tailor a treatment plan specific to your needs and goals. Every patient requires a unique approach to care, whether in the form of medication management, support, or alternative treatment options. Mental Health is not one-size-fits-all - and that's okay!

Dr. Hankins was extremely attentive to my concerns and issues. She takes the time to sincerely listen, ask questions to completely understand your situation, and create a safe and welcoming patient-doctor confidential environment.
