I definitely recommend seeing Marie Touzin. I meet with her virtually and she has been very helpful in taking over my care regimen from my previous doctor and has been very responsive and helpful in meeting my health needs. She is also very easy to talk to and I can tell that she really cares about helping me!

One of the main problems people have with psychiatrists is finding one that isn't dismissive/only looking to get the session over with. I'm fortunate to not have that problem.

She was very patient and kind, while at the same time time showed genuine concern for my son. She is excellent at what she does…helping people. We need more people like her. We definitely recommend her to anyone who is in need of help with delicate mental issues.

For something I never wanted to do, I really have come to enjoy my visits. I feel extremely heard and cared for. She really digs in to my life and what has been going on, revisiting and asking questions each week. She takes the time for me to make sure I am comfortable and we are making the right steps, and it is working.

I have a follow-up appt scheduled and expect to keep it. The med prescribed was not the same as the med I initially requested, and differential side effects / etc were not discussed.

Marie makes it known that her only job is to prescribe medication. She tries to get you to schedule several appointments in very close ranges of each other. Her questions are the same every time. There is not much to talk about. The appointment lasted about 15 mins. My insurance was billed several hundred dollars every time. She really does not listen. Sometimes I would throw a simple question in there and she would say uhm. Yeah! You were not listening. I addressed my concerns and she became defensive. I addressed my concerns with Headway, and first noticed the back to back appointments with is unusual for a medication provider. It felt like money grab. She also didn’t listen when I told her I noticed the medication is causing me to pack on the points rapidly in a month.

I did not have a good experience with this provider. They require you to set up accounts with two separate portals and ask you to message the provider through those but she is not always responsive. She insisted on switching my medication even though I was happy with the one I was taking. She rescheduled one of my appointments an hour before and didn't even bother to call. When I tried to get in contact with her about rescheduling, she was very rude.
