About Dr. Mariell Dominguez German

I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. From an early age, I realized that I wanted to become a doctor so I could help and support families in need. I attended medical school at Pontificia Universidad Cat?lica Madre y Maestra Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and moved to New York City shortly after graduating. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I decided to pursue medicine and pediatrics because I have been inspired by the resilience of children-their imagination, their approach to life, and their ability to overcome obstacles. I enjoy watching their development from birth to young adulthood and advocating for their wellbeing. A good day at work means being able to interact with children, learning about their goals and dreams while guiding their parents throughout their child's journey. A good day also means building a strong relationship with my patients and their families. I want you to know that at Sanitas, we will work as a team to provide personalized, high-quality pediatric care. We are devoted to maintaining and improving your child's health through preventive care. When I take off my coat, I enjoy quality time with my family and friends.
