About Dr. Marigold Castillo
For the most comprehensive pediatric care, you can rely on the expertise of board-certified pediatrician Marigold Castillo, MD, at MD1CARE - Gold Pediatrics in Bayside, New York. Dr. Castillo ("Dr. Gold") offers a variety of child-focused medical services, including specialized care for adolescent eating disorders and adolescent gynecology. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and an active member of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine in addition to being a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

With a passion for adolescent medicine, Dr. Gold has written peer-reviewed reports and published articles about eating disorders, obesity, and gynecology. She has also presented her research at the annual meetings of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine.
After receiving her undergraduate education (B.S. Honors) from the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada, Dr. Castillo earned her medical degree with highest honors from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida. She completed her postdoctoral training in adolescent medicine at North Shore-LIJ Health System (Cohen Children's Medical Center) and her training in pediatrics at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn.
