Patient reviews for Dr. Mario Alcantara
Wonderful Dr! I ended up waiting an hour and a half probably because they were busy but the Dr talked to me for a total of ten minutes and that was it. I highly recommend him. Very professional and kind.
His bedside manner is excellent! For obvious reasons, colorectal issues can be embarrassing to talk about but Dr. Alcantara was so easy to talk to that it made it much easier.
Walked. In nervous but Made me feel very comfortable and the staff very friendly and nice
Dr Alcantara is a caring doctor with a great sense of humor. He was thorough in his explanation of my condition and prognosis. He is very knowledgeable and his experience is evident in the way he treats his patients. Hi
Great doctor! Explains fully.
Very polite and respectful. He took the time to answer all of my questions .
Dr. Alcantara is great. Very straightforward, humorous, and effective. He knows what he's doing. The office staff, not so much. I had one of the first appointments of the day, and still had to wait over an hour to be called back. They lost all of my records since my last visit, and I had to fill out a whole new set of forms. And some members of the staff don't talk to the others - it seems they purposely avoid one another, and won't lift a finger to ask that one extra question that could save you a lot of time - the receptionist in particular. She just blames the rest, and can't be bothered to find things out. But Dr. Alcantara is worth the wait. I just wish the front office staff understood customer service better.
The doctor made an uncomfortable situation way more comfortable by explaining everything.
Very professional, answers all questions, treated me with dignity and was very sincere. I trust this doctor very much (difficult for me to do easily). I wish he could also provide PCP because I would be extremely satisfied. His staff is nice, professional, and prompt. No time wasted here!
