Mario Voloshin, DPM, FACFAS is a Board Certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon who graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to complete one of the very few four-year Podiatric surgical residencies in the country at New York Hospital Queens, a member of the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System and affiliate of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He acquired his surgical skills through extensive training with a wide array of Podiatric and Foot & Ankle Orthopedic surgeons. In his final year of residency, Dr. Voloshin served as Chief resident, and continued to hone his surgical skills, specifically in the areas of sports medicine and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
In addition to providing podiatric expertise to his patients, he works very closely with other medical specialties to prevent further complications that develop in patients suffering from diabetes, immunosuppressive illnesses, neurological manifestations, and various forms of arthritis. Dr. Voloshin was appointed to teaching staff at both New York Presbyterian / Queens and Brooklyn Methodist Hospitals, where he spends his time teaching podiatric surgery to residents. He serves as a consultant to various surgical companies, which entails giving lectures to other physicians and research.

I fell on my ankle at work and was prepared to have the quick in and out consultation and evaluation. But to my surprise Dr. Voloshin spent time with me filling out forms and explaining in detail about my injury. I had one person ahead of me when I arrived, the receptionist was great, caring and kind just like Dr. Voloshin. He gave me a great sense of security in my mind and ankle. I would truly recommend anyone who has a foot or ankle issue to call and make an appointment, he is well worth your trip! Thank You Dr. Voloshin and staff.

Dr. Maria Voloshin was great! I was a bit hesitant at first because it was my first time seeing a podiatrist for my issues, but it was quite informative. He was very detailed with how he explained the roots of the pain I was having and the various treatments to relieve my symptoms. I felt very comfortable that he was very knowledgable in his field and he also gave me advice on what kind of insoles I could get that would prevent me in having to get custom orthotics made. I really enjoyed my visit and would recommend him to any friend.
