About Marisa Rock
Marisa Rock, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology at Spring Street Dermatology. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and went on to complete an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Northeastern University in Boston. Marisa began her nursing career at Yale New Haven Hospital on the surgical trauma step-down unit before spending two years as a travel nurse working on medical and surgical floors across the country.
Marisa received her Master of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University and became board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is an active member of American Nurses Association. Marisa has trained closely with Spring Street's medical director, Dr. Sapna Palep, gaining hands-on experience in both medical and cosmetic dermatology for several years.
Marisa treats a wide range of skin conditions including acne, rosacea, eczema, and hair loss, as well as performs comprehensive skin cancer screenings for patients of all skin types. She is trained in cosmetic procedures including lasers for pigmentation and vascular concerns, devices for skin tightening and scarring, and injectable treatments such as Botox® Cosmetic.
