Dr. Kaplan is board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care and is Associate Professor of Surgery at Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Kaplan has been an active member of the medical staff since 1987 during which time he has served as a primary teaching attending to the residents and medical students for which he has received several teaching awards over the years.
