He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, the North American Spine Society, and the American Spinal Cord Injury Association. Dr. Prasarn has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on spine trauma, the degenerative spine, pelvic fractures, non-unions, and other complex fractures. He is the spine consultant for the Houston Texans and all University of Houston sports teams.
