The doctor spent most the time cursing about a patient in the other room, refused to look at my chart, told me to get a brace (they couldn’t provide), took my phone because he was “bad at technology but accidentally deleted the brace and proceeded to say he was bad at technology.
They do not accept Medicaid. Zocdoc does not disclose that during appointment. The office called the day day before to notify. Zocdoc should clarify before fixing appointment that they don’t accept Medicaid.

My appointment was very nice even though it was a last minute on my part. The front office staff was very friendly and welcoming and Dr. Sanders actually sat down and listened to me and spent time with me and listened to my issue. Although this was about 45 minutes from my house, I will continue to see Dr. Sanders simply because of his bedside manner, and his office staff that welcomed me.
Verified patient
The very first time an orthopedic surgeon spends more than 5 minutes with me in an appointment. Dr. Sanders took my pain seriously and provided clear next steps to help diagnose. I felt so seen and heard.
Verified patient
Professional and friendly.
Verified patient
Dr.Sanders was very friendly and straight to the point! Super funny and made me finally feel seen. His staff is also super friendly and respond to emails super fast! 10/10 would recommend
Verified patient
Great experience very helpful and clear.
Verified patient
I strongly warn against scheduling with Doctor Sanders. The front staff was very kind and helpful however Doctor Sanders was extremely bad. I waited about 1 hour to see him for a progressing knee injury - in the exam room he asked no questions to me about the injury and made no physical inspections before immediately giving me very painful stretches that he ignored my complaints about. Overall he saw me for less than 2 minutes and never stopped to listen to me ask more about my issue. Also he managed to use an absurd amount of cuss words in our short visit. Horrible physician.
Verified patient
Was not very helpful in explaining the issue. Spent less than 5 minutes with me. I had to ask to see the x-ray. Was later recommended not to go back to him and go elsewhere by people familiar with Orthopedics in Houston
Nice
Verified patient
I would highly recommend Dr. Sanders. I was given by him his personal contact number to reach him if I had issues with the medication prescribed. Dr. Sanders took the time to listen to my concerns and provided an explanation to all my questions. Jazmine was such a delight to work with, from the initial call after I scheduled my appointment to the end of my appointment after I was done with the Dr.
I don't know where to start the people at the reception are incredible they make you feel welcome and that they care about your pains and the doctor he's very knowledgeable and he explained everything an the better way to understand.

Long wait just to spend 20 minutes talking about doctor’s weight loss journey. A few inappropriate comments were made leaving my boyfriend and I in shock, one of them “if I were your boyfriend I’d have you at 120lbs”. This all stemmed from my question “I had weight loss surgery, could this have impacted my knees”. The doctor proceeded to tell us his own weight loss medication story, family situations and asked questions about how much I lost so far and told me how much I should weight. I’m 6’ tall, so he did the mental math and told me my “healthy” BMI weight and made that comment. When he finally investigated my knee he told me both knees will prob need replacement, and none the less without any prior warning he hurt my healthy knee to the point I screamed and began crying in shock because I couldn’t move my leg and thought he broke something. Dr Sanders then smiling made a comment “see, I told you they are both messed up”. He gave me referral for expensive diagnostics I didn’t need.
Overall it was a satisfying experience

Pretty long wait but worth it.

Dr. Sanders is truly an amazing doctor that cares about you as a person. Between his nurse Jazmin incredible team. I never feel like I am alone, in what may be a long process to getting my life back to normal.
Verified patient
Excellent Dr. Very knowledgeable in his specialty. Called and checked on me night after procedure. Got me in to physical therapy next morning. He truly was a blessing from GOD for me. Been suffering for weeks before he stepped in.
Verified patient
Dr showed up late and said he would have everyone out by 12 it was 1145. One of the patients was complaining loudly about the wait and the swiftness of the visit. Not a good first impression but I was able to get him to aspirate my knee and he’s going to do surgery. He’s rated as the number 1 orthopedic surgeon. Very laidback and easy going.
Verified patient
The doctor and the receptionist were nice and friendly. I made an appointment by Zocdoc but actually the time was not available so I had to reschedule it.
