I am a former engineer and seminarian who later chose to dedicate myself to helping those suffering from mental health conditions. I hold a Bachelor's degree from the College of William & Mary, a Master's in Teaching from Marshall University, and a Doctor of Medicine from Marshall University School of Medicine. I have a strong appreciation for both science and spirituality and infuse these disciplines into my daily practice. I love working with patients and truly appreciate being part of their journey to recovery. I like to listen, teach, and offer sound, evidence-based treatments to help improve my patients' quality of life. I tend to incorporate basic psychotherapy into my treatment sessions and also provide TMS services in addition to medication management. I have particular interests and strengths in working with patients struggling with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and mood disorders during and following pregnancy.
