Ms. Yulonda Leverett is a friendly and cooperative adult and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She currently works with LifeStance Health - Florida, based in Tampa, FL. She is enthusiastic about advocating for her clients.
Ms. Leverett obtained her bachelor's and associate's degrees from the University of Central Florida and Polk State College, respectively. She then received her master's degree in nursing from the University of South Florida. Later on, she acquired a post-master's certificate in psychiatric mental health nursing from Maryville University.
Patients usually visit Ms. Leverett for sleep problems, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. In addition to these, she can also help conduct sessions for anger management. She believes in honest and clear communication as well as developing relationships with the people she takes care of.

Yolanda was amazing at first but a simple unclear miscommunication can turn somebody against you and hold medicine from them. no matter what they did it didn't matter the wording was unclear or the wrong person was approving it. She waits until 5 to tell you need something else but I'm sure this has been the worst experience, the lack of communication and just lack of care from her part. the medicine she needed me to get so many clearances on she prescribed me the same day I made an appointment after not seeing her for almost 4 months but now all of a sudden she has a problem with some medicine and it effecting my heart and I'm 25, and no matter what kind of approval she got she would just word whatever was wrong with it different and deny the refill she's been refilling for me the last 9 months and stopped me cold turkey so yeah I wouldn't recommend her to my dying goldfish

Yulonda Leverett was very professional and up front with her capabilities as a provider. I found her easy to converse with, and was pleasantly surprised at her knowledge of chronic lyme disease. It is very disheartening to have a medical professional tell you that the disease you are suffering with doesn't exist! To clarify, I did not seek out her help for lyme symptoms, but rather as a mental health professional. I plan on following up with her in four weeks. Thank you Yulonda!

My usual psych was fully booked and I was in need of refills, instead of refilling my medications she put me on an entirely new regime of medications despite my efforts to express I just wanted my regular medications. Refills were difficult to get and often she was an hour or more late to see me, I will not be making another appointment, I'd rather be off medication for a month and go see my usual psych than to be treated this way. She just didn't listen to me or take my concerns seriously, once stating that one of my previous meds should only be for 'people with serious issues' which was very demeaning to me.
