I will meet the needs of our patients to the best of my ablity.
I will:Provide psychoeducational and medication instruction(s) to patients if they choose.
Act as a patient advocate and inform patients and families of available community and government resources.
Establish and maintain a good rapport and working relationships with behavioral health team & our patients.
Evaluate & treat all our patients with but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD/ADD, dual diagnosis, Women's health & primary care issues, that may be effecting their physical as well as their mental well-being.
Provide resources/referrals for psychiatric consultative services if need be. ie: Neuropsych testing for ADHD, mini mental exam relative to cognitive support &/or decline, etc.
Support a patients current narcotic addiction program, MAT to better identify and treat patients in our community with issues of chronic opiate habituation and have underlying mental health issues such as depression, trauma, anxiety.
Always provide compassionate, accountable, respectful, care.
I have worked as a nurse for almost 40 years and cared for patients & families as a NP since 1999. I have worked in primary care, Women's Heath, OB/GYN settings & Psychiatry since 2007.
I hope to help individuals advocate for their mental health needs by prescribing and working with their clinicians to find treatments/therapies that are inline with their individual desires for mental well-being. I provide person-centered care, hope and healing to help each person achieve their goals.
