About Dr. Martin Scott

Dr. Scott was born and raised in the Trenton area. He completed his undergraduate education at Rider College, receiving a B.S. in Biology. He received his M.S. at Rutgers university and pursued his doctorate in Bio-Physics and Physiology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), Rutgers Medical School, in New Brunswick. He completed his medical studies at UMDNJ leading to a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. After post-doctoral studies, he assumed a position as Assistant Medical Professor at UMDNJ. Dr. Scott has Board Certification in Family Medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Pain Management. His special interest is in the treatment of non-surgical back and neckpain. Dr. Scott subsequently became a Board Member with the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons and is Past-President. He has practiced family medicine and has served as Team Physician and Occupational Health Provider for schools and industries in the Greater Trenton area. He has lectured on both radio and television, as well as given numerous community lectures. Dr. Scott is on staff at both Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton and Saint Francis Medical Center.
