Mary Kate earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion from Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kansas, in 2010. She then furthered her education, earning a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, California, in 2014. After completing postgraduate clinical rotations in Orange County, California, she later returned to her hometown and dedicated three and a half years as a Physician Assistant in neurosurgery.
