I went in for an annual physical and a hope to establish a relationship with a general physician. We were speaking about various aspects of my family medical history and Dr. Peterson asked me “What are we doing about your weight?” She never asked me about a history of eating disorders or traumas. She never asked me what progress I had already made in my life- instead she asked a question that cut me to my quick and made me feel like my body was a problem to be solved (when I’ve done a lot of therapy to unlearn that kind of thinking). I wish she had approached this topic in a more sensitive manner, even rephrasing it would have helped. I don’t think Dr. Peterson will work for me in the future, but she was very professional, as well as everyone in the office. My time was near the end of the day and I think we were rushing to get out of the office, which I understand, but it didn’t help me feel welcomed in the office.

I had a great experience for my first visit to Dr. Peterson. I was checked in immediately, and waited no more than 3 minutes to be shown to a room. The staff was helpful and friendly. Dr. Peterson is a great listener and is extremely caring. I felt at ease right away.
She called me the next day with my blood test results, even though there were no problems with the test results. I highly recommend this doctor.

I had a really good expereince with Dr. Peterson. She was very nice and listened to me and provided guidance. She thoroughly went through my health records and answered all of my questions. I was very happy with my visit and will probably make her my primary doctor since she was so great.

Dr. Peterson was amazing! I've been on a bad streak of doctors, going to highly rated ones and only to be rushed by the doctors themselves or doctors that would talk AT me and not to me. My husband has a great new doctor and he asked him to recommend a female doctor for me and I'm so glad he recommended Dr. Peterson. Her staff was super friendly, helpful, and just so kind to me. Dr. Peterson herself was patient, actually LISTENED to me and answered all my questions. Even asking me if there's anything else I'd like to talk about! I was taken aback by the whole thing honestly! I had an appointment with Dr. Peterson just for my annual physical. Everyone in the office was wonderful from the start of my visit to the blood drawing at the end. I cannot recommend her enough! She was courteous and listened to my concerns. Wait time was very short, and I think they actually saw me about 5 minutes before my appointment time. I would definitely return to her!
