About Dr. Mary Matta
Dr. Matta was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. She graduated from Rutgers Newark and later earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She continued her residency in Ohio, rotating through six hospitals and four surgical centers while working under highly acclaimed mentors. She has a strong background in biomechanical pathology, foot and ankle reconstructive surgeries, total ankle replacements, trauma, plastics, and limb salvage, as well as elective surgical procedures such as bunions, hammertoes, and nerve decompression.
When she isn't in the OR, she enjoys trying new restaurants (her neighbors often get tired of hearing the smoke detector cheer her on while cooking) and exploring different cuisines. She has recently become engrossed in a couple of new book series that she is currently invested in.
She is looking forward to meeting you all in the office.
