If you're trying to book through ZocDoc, be advised that this office isn't set up to do online booking. They were totally shocked to see me when I showed up for the appointment I booked online. Luckily the doctor was available and I ended up being able to keep my scheduled slot; but the front desk staff made me feel like they were really doing me a huge favor, and made a big point about the fact that they "don't do" online booking. I'm not sure what the ZocDoc interface looks like for providers; apparently there was a disconnect somewhere. The doctor himself was great; friendly, competent, and professional. Not sure if I would return here though after the poor reception.

He has earned his Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University and his doctor of optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon. He finished his residency training at the Salt Lake City Veterans Administration Hospital where he received specialty training in contact lenses and ophthalmic disease.
Dr. Schneider and his lovely wife have two boys ages 3 and 1 month. He speaks fluent Spanish and has been involved in Hispanic outreach clinics and eye care for the last several years. Dr. Schneider is committed to helping continue the tradition of outstanding patient care and personal attention Dr. Kimpton and the wonderful staff at Ballard Optical have provided their patients for over 30 years.
