Dr. Masood Khan, MD

Family Physician
801 N Cass Ave, Ste 300, Westmont, IL
Since I was a child, I've always wanted to help people. One of the things that attracted me towards medicine is observing the compassion that doctors exhibited when interacting with their patients. After helping my grandmother recover from a stroke and surgery, I was inspired to focus on senior care. One of my favorite parts of getting to interact with seniors is just sitting down and having a conversation with them! I greatly value open and honest communication with my patients and it's amazing at what you can learn from the wealth of their vast experiences! I also find it immensely satisfying to help them live their golden years as independently and with the highest quality of life as possible. I'm dual board certified in family medicine and geriatrics. My interests lean towards geriatrics, palliative care and hospice. I commonly deal with geriatric issues such as dementia, delirium, falls and frailty. I also believe that as our seniors move towards the end of their lives, they are treated with compassion and in a manner that preserves their dignity through effective palliative care practice. I like to read and listen to medical podcasts. I like to watch and go to basketball games. I also enjoy traveling. My recent trips include Charleston, South Carolina, Morocco and the Taj Mahal have been among my favorites so far and I hope to explore New Zealand one day!
