Dr. Matthew Dairman is the Founder of 1Foot 2Foot Centres, which opened in October of 2006. Dr. Dairman’s 1Foot 2Foot has been named as “Best of Hampton Roads” for over 10 years running, as voted by the readers of The Virginian Pilot. His passion is to provide the community with the absolute best foot and ankle experience available, by delivering the ultimate in technology, customer service, office environment, and podiatric services. He has been named one of America’s Top Podiatrists, and maintains fellowship with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, and Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons. He is an Assistant Professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Through Dr. Dairman’s expertise, 1Foot 2Foot is recognized as a Center of Distinction for the Lapiplasty 3D bunion correction surgery. His investment in the MLS laser, EPAT, and Swift Microwave Therapy technology allows patients to receive treatment for conditions that would otherwise require surgery. His passion to advance care is further satisfied as Principal Investigator for multiple foot and ankle related clinical trials. Dr. Dairman has developed the Goody2Shoes program that includes a year-round shoe drive providing shoes to those in need and has supported many local and national charities by donating $1 for every patient visit. Dr. Dairman is from northern New Jersey. Upon graduating from Skidmore College (1994) where “Creative Thinking Matters”, Dr. Dairman completed a Masters in Epidemiology from the SUNY Albany School of Public Health and went on to attend medical school in Chicago at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine and Science graduating with honors and as a Swanson Independent Scholar in 2000. He completed his residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery under the guidance of Drs. Dan Hatch and Jeff Jensen through the Northern Colorado Podiatric Surgery program.
