Dr. Matthew Earhart is a graduate of University of Nevada, Reno and Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. While in Forest Grove he also received his Master’s of Education with an emphasis on visual function in learning from Pacific University College of Education. He is glaucoma certified and has done community work in Ecuador and Mexico.
Prior to arriving in sunny California, Dr. Earhart worked in the coastal towns of Seaside, Oregon, and Long Beach, Washington. Upon arriving in Sacramento, Dr. Earhart worked in an ophthalmology setting but is proud to announce he has recently joined the group practice of EYEcenter Optometric.

It was a quick in and out with the paperwork and exams. Doctor Earhart remembered me, even though I hadn't seen him in a year or two. He's very friendly and personable, I really enjoy visiting with him while he shares his knowledge about eye health.

Dr Earnhart was warm and friendly and made me feel very comfortable during my visit. He was very thorough and made sure to answer all my questions in a way that made me understand, but didn't make me feel silly for asking them. The front desk staff were all amazing and didn't mind that my 8 month old was loudly jabbering away. I found a great pair of glasses and didn't spend more than I wanted to. The whole experience was exellent and I would definitely recommend this office to anyone who needs a great optometrist!

Dr. Earhart is incredibly personable and always makes our eye exams informative, as well as interesting and "entertaining!" My entire family visits with him annually, and he seems comfortable working with both adults and teenagers, as well. Dr. Earhart always takes the time to speak directly with each one of us and is eager to ask questions about the ongoing happenings of our everyday lives (ie. work, college, athletics, shared family time, etc.) It is most refreshing to meet a practitioner who, with today's technology, doesn't appear lost behind a computer screen and is willing to treat you both as an individual, as well as a V.I.P. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

My family and I've been going to Dr. Earhart since 2012 and we couldn't be happier. Dr. Earhart his kind, patient, and explains your condition in terms which you can understand. I have chronic dry eye that I suffer from. Since I have been under His care my condition improved and has become very manageable. Which I am so grateful . He's very good listener and is very proactive. I would recommend Dr. Earhart to anyone, he makes going to the eye doctor at great experience.

Person "selling" the glasses was informative and well-versed in his product lines with no pressure or hype. Best coffee machine I have ever seen outside of Starbuck's.

Very knowledgeable in his field recognized some issues I was having and recommended a different treatment that other Doctors did not. His office staff is fantastic Trish took plenty of time helping me find frames and I never felt rushed. Everyone was helpful and I felt welcomed to their office.

Dr. Earhart is AMAZING! I've taken both my girls (7, who has autism & 5) to him. He is so gentle, caring & patient. He explains everything to you & them. I just absolutely love him! Couldn't recommend him more!
