I have been in private practice since 2003 and have recently transitioned to providing fully remote care.
I have had many patients in the past with thyroid problems that were never fully treated due to one normal number on their labs. In 2012, I attended a conference that completely changed the way that I view the thyroid. I am now more open to all symptoms and all labs values, and I can really evaluate the thyroid as a whole system. I find that correcting thyroid issues can really make a noticeable difference in people's lives.
