Mauli Desai is a caring and mindful allergist and immunologist serving the community of New York, NY. Dr. Desai attended the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she received her medical degree, and completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Columbia University, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She also completed another fellowship in allergy and immunology at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.

She seemed preoccupied with her own approach rather than listening to the patient and their symptoms. As a result she missed key information that would have made the appointment more efficient and friendly. As it stands now I don’t think she cared about me. Just about her pre-determined approach regardless of patient. I didn’t feel well taken care of.

Dr. Desai is a delight of a doctor! I have immense anxiety regarding an allergy and she has taken the time to answer EVERY SINGLE one of my (sometimes silly) questions. She is incredibly thorough, intelligent, and considerate. Her kindness has put me at ease regarding an upcoming appointment that I've been dreading and avoiding for about two years. Unparalleled bedside manner– she really does care! Cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Desai.
