I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a Master's in Nursing from Arizona State University Tempe Campus. With over 25 years of experience in health care and 16 years as a nurse practitioner working in women's health, family medicine, and psychiatry, I understand the interconnectedness of physical and mental well-being. I value empowerment and am here to facilitate your journey to emotional, physical, and mental wellness.
I work with a wide spectrum of patients, meeting them wherever they are on their mental health journey. I have expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of mood disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, panic disorder, PTSD, and more. My approach to mental health is patient-centered and holistic, acknowledging the unique complexities of each person. I seek to understand each patient as a unique individual by considering the psychological, biological, environmental, and social factors that have influenced their lives.
Whether you choose to use medication alone or in combination with psychotherapy, I encourage my patients to be active participants in their mental health journey. I work collaboratively to create a plan of care that is considerate and respectful of your concerns, beliefs, vulnerabilities, and wishes.
Please note the following before scheduling:
- I do NOT perform ADULT ADHD evaluations
- I do NOT utilize benzodiazepines or stimulant medications
- I do NOT do short-term or long-term disability paperwork. FMLA will only be considered for established patients who have been seeing me for at least 3 months.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
