Moments like these made her want to obtain her own optimal health, as well as help people achieve theirs by providing care for them throughout their lives. As a family practitioner, Dr. Chen enjoys building relationships with her patients. She helps her patients understand their illnesses and empowers them to improve their own lives. She strongly values preventive care and incorporates her masters in public health training into her philosophy of practice. Dr. Chen was born in California in the Silicon Valley and is Taiwanese-American. Outside of work, Dr. Chen is probably trying a new restaurant with her husband and two children or balancing and deep breathing at vinyasa yoga.
